Treaty All the Time

I can't believe I'm running out of things to blog about. Actually I have too much thoughts in my mind that I cannot re-arrange them and put down down in words. I'll have to slowly clear my mind and put all my adventures into alphabetical orders.

Recently, I felt very lucky because i get a treat from family and friends from time to time. I'm truly grateful that I have this bunch of nice people around me. The Universe has been so kind to me in sending many wonderful people to me. These just appeared in my life and started to treat me like a friend, bestie, sister,  etc. Suddenly i'm like a superstar where everyone wants to treat me to a nice lunch/dinner. Isn't life good when everyday is sunny llike this? Don't worry, I have my fair share of bad days and troubled people in my life. But I won't focus on these. Remember I mentioned before that my intention is to be positive right?

Many of you will say that 'There's no free lunch in this world', yes you are right. There's no free lunch in this world and I'm not Mahatma Gandhi to be receiving so much of kindness from others. But there's one thing i do believe, it is not necessary that when you treat others nice or helped others means the will return you the favor. When I do people a favor, I don't expect them to return the favor because I always believe that somehow someday the favor will be returned to me from another person in another form. I believe that when you do others afavor, they may not return the favor to you but later they may do a favor for another person and this favor will continue to pass on until it returns to you from another person when you needed the favor. Thus I believe that when we continue to help others and treat other nicely, others will do the same to us. Agree or not agree? Let us know what you think.

before I end this, I just want to say a big THANK YOU to all the people who have treated me to a meal or two. I will never forget your kindness and will always offer my help when you need. Thank you Universe for sending me a bunch of nice and kind people. keep sending them to me. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Empowering You

Last Sunday I attended a powerful convention in Putra Stadium Bukit Jalil. The speakers words were so inspiring that after the convention, almost all the business partners i talked to have the momentum to go out and build their business and quit rat race right away. Isn't it good news? Now you know why i like functions like this and I always make use of it to motivate my business partners. It's always easier to let other leaders motivate and inspire them rather than yourself doing it. Why? Because human beings are very funny. We tend to listen and believe other successful people whom we don't know personally rather than those we knew very well. Instead of following leaders who are by our side, sometimes we need to get some power boost from other successful people as well. This time around, the convention manage to draw the biggest crowd since since 2008. Why 2008? because that's the first convention that i attended! Haha! This time they invited great speakers from overseas, Founders Diamond Naruss & Samornsri Mahakkapong from Thailand and also the biggest start of the night Double Crown Ambassador Kaoru Nakajima from Japan Thus functions like this are a useful tool to help you in your business. You are basically using other's inspiring words to ignite the fire and enthusiasm in your business partners. Ok, now less talk and more pics :P

Everyone get's the program card and light stick. This year light stick quality is much better than last year's.

Year 2012 free trip is Sydney. Points calculation starts from July 2011! I think we may have a chance to enter Sydney opera house!

The stage bore the shape of number '35', because it is the 35th anniversary.

It's us at the convention. Before the party starts!

Country's top leaders on the stage. The stage getting more and more crowded every year.

Look at the massive crowd in the stadium. There's a lot more people lingering outside because not enough seats.

Founders Diamond Naruss & Samornsri Mahakkapong FromThailand. They are 29 years old only.

Star of the night: Double Crown Ambassador Kaoru Nakajima from Japan. he really fueled all of us.

That's all for the pics.

Now I'm looking forward to Australia in December 2012 and another extra RM200k in my pocket by end of next year. Ganbateh!

Dear Universe, Thank you for letting me know this great oppoturnity at an early stage of my life. Please send three persons who are hunger for success and fear of poverty. I'm looking forward to emerald-ship and Australia in 2012!

The Most Loving Dad Award

MSN recently did a post on Best Dad Award. So I thought I'll like to give out the award of The Most Loving Dad to my dad of course! He's the hero in my life and I'll never ever find someone who is better than my dad.

Although my dad looks cool and quiet from the outside, but deep inside I know he love his family a lot. It's just that he doesn't show it, unlike other fathers who will show their affection on the outside. I know my dad shows his love and affection through his action over the years.

When i was young, my dad will scold me and sometimes even hit me if i make mistake or create some troubles. His voice is loud and clear. Although my dad is Thin and small size, but he is strong. Even though he is sometimes fierce, but other times I know he cares a lot about us. When I was small, my dad will buy a lot of cartoon video tape (when i was young it was video tape era) such as Little Mermaid and Snow White and he will take us swimming, shopping every weekend, then we will have western food for dinner on Sunday.

My dad is the most hardworking person I've ever met. He works hard and provide for his family. With his position and pay, many people are not able to feed so many children, let alone buying a new house in his 50's and able to paid it off within 5 years. With my ability now, I know I won't be able to do that. My dad is very stingy on himself because he wants to provide the best for us.

Thus, although my dad is not a rich person and didn't give us everything we want, but I'm thankful to be his daughter because he I always know that the best dad in the world doesn't need to be rich. My dad is very knowledgeable and good in English, but too bad that I cannot be as smart and as hardworking as my dad. Nevertheless, I have a goal to work harder and quit rat race as soon as possible so that i can spend more time with my parents and also provide enough for them to be able to stop their small business and enjoy life fully. I know my parents like to travel the world :D

So Happy Father's Day to all fathers in the world.

My lovely parents

Shoe Addict

A while ago, a friend of mine was sharing about self-image and how we should present ourselves in front of others. During her sharing, she mentioned that she learned from an expert image consultant that the first thing people notice when they first lay their eyes on you is your shoes. Unbelievable right? Many people tend to ignore what's on their feet because they thought that feet is that last thing that people will notice. After listening to her sharing, I started to think back on the moments when I look at passerby, i tend to pay attention to their shoes too!

Then I remember that I read a blog post about the blogger's shoe collection a couple months ago, so I decided to feature my shoe collection in this blog. It's up to you to decide whether I'm a shoe addict or not :) I'm a size 9 and many times, it is not easy to get my size especially China-brand shoes. These brands tend to have small cutting and i need to get size 41 most of the time. With local and and branded shoes like Vincci, Lewre, Hush Puppies, etc, I need at least a size 9. Most of my shoes are bought during warehouse sales or Mega sale discount of at least 50%. I seldom buy normal priced shoes or those with only 10-30% discount during sale period, unless it is a need. That said, I'm a stingy person when it comes to spending on fashion.

I don't have a shoe rack at home. Half of collection is kept inside individual shoe boxes and placed in my wardrobe. The other half is in my car. I can have more than 10 pairs in my car at one time :P Before we start, let me tell you some facts about my shoes:

All my shoes are below RM100 (in fact i think none are over RM50).

30% are new and never worn before. I tend to buy a lot when I come across cheap sales and a lot of designs are available in my size.

30% are seldom worn shoes.

20% are over 3 inches high. For my 5ft 6in frame, 3 inches and above is big deal because I'm not living among NBA basketball players.

I actually have more than what i owned at the moment but I've sold of about 5 pairs since last year. so here we go:

#1. Flats
I have 4 pairs of flats (if the sport shoe is counted as flats). The dark brown loafers is the newest member in the family.

Dark brown slip-on bought during "The Store" sales in harbour place. Cheap and super comfy.

The only pair that I have which I think can qualify as a sport shoe. Though I know that some of you will disagree with me. Bought during Hush Puppies warehouse sale few years ago. I think it is RM40. Dirt cheap right? This pair have served me well. The sole was previously torn during my last Shanghai trip but I manage to glue it back :)

Another pair bought during the first "The Store" sale in Harbour Place Mall last year. Also very cheap and super comfy. Same brand as the dark brown shoe.

I seldom wear this because it hurts my feet. I always feel that it is a impulse buy.

#2 Pointy shoes
Pointy pumps are one of my fave. All three are from Lewre. They are quite painful when you first wear them but after awhile it becomes comfy. The one on the left is worn frequently that's why it looks kinda old and worn-out. The one on the right have also been worn before many times. The middle one is new.
Ignore the ugly legs. Just pay attention to the shoes :)

#3 Round-toe pumps or whatever you call it.
This pair is from Vincci. Seldom worn. In fact the quality is not so good. The Grey leather lining has started to peel off.

#4 Peep-toe range
Peep-toe pumps are also my fave design. The one on the left and middle are from Elements. They had a great sale during CNY 2011. Hehe! The golden pair is from Nose.

Love peep-toes. Classy!

#5 Wedges
I love wedges! I love to see people wearing wedges because it makes them look like rich woman in casual. I've got 4 pairs. The red wedges is from Hush Puppies. Seldom wear it because the strap expanded and it become too big for me now. The white one (second from left), is my current fave because it makes you look so elegant no matter how simple your clothes is. Most important thing is this elegant pair only cost me RM35.00. The black wedges from Vincci is new and unworn yet. Lastly is this white pair on the right which is a special one. It's a gift from my current company for my birthday which i chose myself. Many thanks to my company's management.

One of my fave pair currently. It's 3.5 inches high but very comfortable.

The most 'chio' pair in my collection :D  I haven't had a chance to wear it. Will it be another impulse buy?

Last but not least is heels collection:
My everyday work heels. I wear this to work most of the time. It is not pretty but it is very comfortable. From Hush Puppies.

Strappy heels more than 3 inches high. Bought in Nose warehouse sale.

This is the first time i bought 2 of the same design in different colours. You may think I'm too spend thrift but it only cost me RM10 per pair and this design is so pretty plus both colours are also lovely. I was undecided so i bought 'em all.

This pair was an unplanned purchase. Bought it in Vincci Mid Valley. I was there for an event in MVEC. Then there's a big sale in the Vincci outlet where all the shoes are at least 50% off. Being a shoe-lady, it's hard to control myself at that time. So I bought this for RM15.

This is the highest heel in my collection. It's above 4.5 inches. Bought during Nose warehouse sale.

I love this pair from Lewre. 3.5 inches high thus i seldom wear it. It is one of my best choice when attending wedding dinners. The last time i wore this is during Pam's wedding.
The dress is too long so even with the shoes, it still touches the floor.

This pair is also very 'chio'. So far I only wear it to wedding dinners and special evening events because this shoes have the 'evening glamorous' look.

That's all for my shoe collection. I know my shoes are not so nice as compared to what other girls have mostly because I'm too stingy to spend on highly priced nice shoes. Plus comfort always comes before pretty design for me. I have a total 23 pairs here. it's a lot to some and too little for the others. But one thing i know is I'm slowly going out of control with my shoe addicted-ness because just yesterday, I'm eyeing 2 shoes from 'Cotton On' again :P

So are you a shoe-addict? which is your favourite pair?

人类因梦想而伟大,人生因梦想而精彩!

I know most of you will think that this will be a mandarin post. Unfortunately, my mandarin writing ability is only that much, haha!

Basically "人类因梦想而伟大,人生因梦想而精彩" means "Human being is great because of dreams, live is fantastic because of dreams".

I remember when I was young, my primary school teacher likes to ask all the students "what is your dream?" and "What is your ambition". Being yound and naive, all the students have big dreams and goals, everyone was ambitious back then. Just like US president Barack Obama, his ambition is to become US president one day. Fortunately, he worked hard and believe in his own ambition and he ends up where he is today.

Many of us gradually forgot about our dreams and ambition as time goes by, as we grow older and faces more challenges in the real world. When we were young, we often dream of becoming a professional such as doctor, pilot, singer, celebrity, etc. We'd think that we will earn a lot and have everything that we want in life. Life as an adult seemed so perfect back then, i remembered how eager i was to grow and start making millions. But as time goes by, these dreams started to drift away from us. As we grow older and older, we started to realise that the real world is harsh! Making money and getting by every month seems so difficult. I believe a lot of people also feels the same way.

Have you ever thought of getting back also those dreams and goals again? I believe I can dream again because without dreams, life is meaningless. I don't want to live my life aimlessly. 20 years down the road, I don't want to look back at my life and regret that I lived my life aimlessly and did not achieve anything great in my whole llife. I want to contribute to the world and also people around me. I want to make difference to the world and everyone that i come across in my life.

Dear Universe, Please let me have the power to dream again and to realise my dreams. Thank You Universe!

How about you? do you have any dreams and goals that you want to achieve? Do share it here :)

It's been an awesome 2 weeks of celebration!

It has been 2 weeks since my 11-05-11 birthday and I've been reluctant to come down from my celebration cloud nine. Why I've never felt so happy about my birthday before this? That's because before this I've never learn how to be happy and that comes from within and not from our surrounding. I've also never know how to be grateful for the things i have and thus not appreciating all of it. For the past year, I've learned a lot about gratitude and the power it possess it making life easier and more meaningful. To learn more about the power of gratitude, try to learn more about "The Secret" and "Law Of Attraction".

Since 11-05-11, I was happy everyday and I intend to continue for as long as I live :P As I was writing this, in my heart I'm saying Thank You repeatedly for there's a lot of things that I was thankful for. I get a lot of treats for the past 2 weeks, I felt like a celebrity :) Thanks to my lovely colleague for the birthday treat on that day itself, you guys are not only awesome colleagues but awesome friends as well! Then movie with him and not forgetting the Jogoya buffett dinner that I've been waiting for a long long time, sponsored by this guy:
I couldn't be more thankful to have him in my life. Thank you dear! I didn't take much photos of the food but I'll give thumbs up for the food and overall experience. One thing for sure is I'll definitely go back to this place again. Yay! also, not to forget to thanks Darren for the lunch treat and the short escape from my boring office cubicle. You made my friday more than just a TGIF ^^ . Not to forget sexy Lynn also, I'm too surprise when she said she wants to take me to lunch for my birthday. Thanks for the lunch treat and I'll always admire your courage to be bold and different from the rest. Also a big thank you to Tze Ping and her hubby, itchy Pooi Lum, Heng, May Lam and Bryan for the dim sum breakfast. It feels so good to see you guys again.

But the thing that i'm most happy about is this round, I'm sharing my birthday month with more and more people. I hardly have any friends who shared the same birthday month as me until recently when i joined this new company, I have another 3 person who shares the same month as me, and also Ling shared the same day as me. This time it gives me a feeling of how great it is to actually share a lot of good things with other people. I'm beginning to feel true happiness from within. I guess this is the 9 secrets that I learn from Siew Chin and Gary. I'll share about it another time though.

But the celebration doesn't ends here. Tomorrow me and my colleagues are all going to karaoke to celebrate Jing Jing and Darren's birthday which are also in the month of May. I know that more and more happy things will come my way so I want to enjoy and live every moment of it. Dear Universe, Thank you for making my life so colourful and interesting. May everyday be a sunshine! Thank you!

Birthday gives from him:

Artistry Skin Renewing Peel

Artistry Time Defiance 3-pc Skincare set

Thank you dear! This is us during the Jogoya Buffet:

11/05/11, A Day That Will Only Come Once In My Lifetime

I wanted to emphasis today's date not just because the date repeats number 11 two times but also because it is my birthday today. This day will only come once in my lifetime unless i get to live over 100 years ++. Haha!

Many happy things happen today that I'm grateful for. First of all is I get to celebrate Mother's Day for my beloved mum at our famous family restaurant. This place not only serve delicious food but also the price is very reasonable. We've been frequenting this place for many many years. Share the cost of the meal with my big brother. Happy Happy! Mum also gave me a big angpow because is my birthday! Yay! Thanks mummy dearest. You are the best!

Secondly is none other than dear. I was actually mad at him for the past few days because of the same old mistake that he made again. I actually has mixed feelings and confused thoughts running through my head during this period. But at the end I still find myself accepting him again with open arms. Perhaps the Universe is hinting me again and again that he is the one for me and that I should stop worry about unnecessary things and moved on to create better things and live a more meaningful life. Got a gift from him for my Bday XP. Surprisingly today he shared a lot of things with me and it feels different this time. I can actually see his future and perhaps our future together. I started to see light in his eyes and suddenly hope just lights up around us. I really hope that he will have a great path lying infront of him and I know he can do very well. At this moment, I really feel a higher level of love for this special man in my life. Thank you Universe, I'm so grateful that I can find a soulmate that will love me more than anything in this world, thank god that I found him! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Meanwhile I have a series of program lined up for me simply because is my birthday :P Celebration is not limited until 12 midnight but i believe is for the whole month :) I'm so grateful and happy that i have so many great friends around me and of course my loving family is here to support me. Thanks everyone! I'm looking forward to saturday breakfast cum birthday celebration which i will share with another friend (love sharing birthdays!) and for dinner, delicious Jogoya awaits me *grin* pictures will follow later, I promise!

Lastly I want to wish May Babes and Hunks a very very Happy Birthday! Especially to Ling who share the same day with me!

before i end this, I know all of you are dying to know what is the gift XP. here you go:

Artistry Time Definace 3-pc set. Thank you Dearie :)

Can't wait for 9 a.m. to come as I know the whole day will be as happy and as exciting at the same time. As for now, good night, i'm going to have a very sweet dream tonight.
