It's the time of the year when you started to recall back what went well during the year. In year 2010, there are a lot of people around me that helped me in improving my life, career and personal development. Here I would like to take this opportunity to thank a number of people who make a difference in my life and also to 'preserve' ONLY happy memories of 2010. (sorry if i missed out anyone)
The people around me in 2010:
1) My ever lovely mum and dad. there's no other people can replace the both of you in my heart. Thank you for all that you have done for me in my whole life and thank you for being there for me When I most needed both of you. Thank you mum and dad, I will always love you.
2) My siblings (Elder Sis & Bro, Younger Bro & Sis). Yes, I always tell people how grateful i am to have a complete family set with me in the middle. How many people can be as lucky as me to have perfect parents(at least to me), one older sister, one older brother, one younger brother and one younger sister. I really really really love you guys. A Lot!!! Thank you for being there for me all the time. Thanks to biggie sis for the wonderful opportunity to make some extra pocket money this year. I believe I will have 10 times more sales in 2011 :) (If you are interested please email me) Other than that, all my siblings also make my life more colourful because the house is always full! Thank you guys!
3) Clement - no words can express my heartfelt gratitude for your presence in my life. As I'm writing this, I can feel that tears are starting to weld up in the corner of my eyes. You have seen me at my best and worst. When I was going through the darkest time, you are there shining down positive light on me. When I'm at my shittiest moment, you were always there to cheer me up. I always live by your words: whatever happen in our life is a good thing. So far, shitty things have turned out well in the end. Thank you for being my best friend and darling.
4) IGN gang - Emely, Susan, Shirley, Hannah, Sumin, Clarice, Clarian, Steve, Jennifer and many more(sorry if I didn't mention you here). You guys are my motivators! Never fail to lift me up whenever I'm down. I'm very grateful to have you guys with me and i always know that I can count on all of you for almost anything.
5) Mentors - Alvin Tham, Gary, Siew Chin, Wee John, Herman and many more - Heartfelt gratitude to each and everyone one of you for your selfless guidance and sharing that help me to grow stronger mentally. Everyday, I'm filled with more happiness, confidence and hope with the lights you shed on me. Thank you!
6) Jessie, Steve and the rest of the finance team in GCS - Thank you for the wonderful three years experience although things ended pretty badly in Malaysia. After all, this is the first time that i worked in a company till it winds up! LOL! Although the management has decided to end business in Malaysia, but i truly appreciate the friendship that we have build over the last few years. Although you guys are thousands of miles away from me (especially Zohra in Paris, miss u gal!), I know we have bonded very well. Thank you Steve for being the most cheeky boss I ever had and you are the best person i ever worked with. Jessie, my 'sister' from Singapore, thank you for everything, from accounts to shopping, I've learned a great deal from you.
7) MM friends - Alvin, Bill, Eugene, Kok Liang, Kate, Marion, Mabel, Karen, Fern, Koh and others - thank you for all the wisdom and knowledge you pass to me, especially Kok Liang, Bill and Kate. Thank you Alvin for willingly listen to my constant grumbling :P Special thanks to my automobile expert friend, Koh. Knowing that my knowledge for cars are sooo limited, you were willing to share your knowledge with me without expecting a return.
8) My besties - Hsio Wei, Ching Sze, Fern, Shirley, Enid and others - Thank you guys for the wonderful gathering and yum cha sessions. Also, I had a wonderful Bangkok trip with some of you guys. I believe we will have more exciting trips in the future. Save up, save up, save up!
9) HarbourPlace gang - Marilyn, Lynn, Nina, Norul, Darren, Yati and the rest. Although our time together wasn't long and still in the process of getting to know each other. But one thing for sure is that you guys open my eyes to alot of new things which i've never know before this. To Marilyn, Lynn and Norul, thank you for giving a glimpse into your life and made me realise that what I've gone through in my life is nothing and that I can be stronger. To Darren, thank you for the wonderful knowledge and experiences you share with me so far. I know I have a lot more to learn from you in the future :)
10) To the rest who make a difference in my life, i'm sorry if I did not mention you here. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
