Today is the last day of year 2010, the tiger year in chinese calendar. I have many thoughts racing through my mind in the past two days. Memories on what happen in the whole 2010 and also new expectation for the coming year 2011, the rabbit year in chinese calendar. I'm very excited and looking forward to a more fruitful year in 2011. With new exciting career and my business which is soaring higher every single day, life has been pretty good around me. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people that help me to achieve all these. So for year 2011, I'm more determined to make a bigger impact in 2011.
A few things that i want to set out to achieve in 2011:
1) Make more $$ - This is the most important thing right now. I'm not being greedy, but the fact that from 2005-2009, i've been leaving paycheck to paycheck is a disaster. during year 2010, I was going through a recovery process and managed to get out of debt, thanks to an unexpected fund from my ex-company. Thus I've been reading a lot of financial blogs and news to widen my personal finance knowledge. One thing that many people misunderstood is that Accounts people manage their finances the best which is totally wrong! accountants manages money for the company they work for, but many times, they themselves are very bad in managing their own money. you have one right here who ignore the importance of managing own money. Reading other people's financial blog has encouraged me to start my own financial blog -> Personal Money . This blog is still empty at this moment because i plan to start in 2011. let's hope that i will be able to keep it updated :P As to how I am going to make more moeny and increase my networth, I'm gonna share it from time to time through out the year.
2) Make more time for myself and the people around me - Yep. I'm disastrous in time management. I used to give excuse that i was busy because i need to jugle my time between working and studying part-time. But that was history already! I finished my degree and thus i have no more excuses to give myself. That's it! More time for myself, family and friends.
3) be more friendly - it is no surprise that i get comments now and then from new friends that they were afraid to talk to me when they first met me. They thought i looked fierce. can't blame them because I'm born with a serious, matured and stern face. I other words it is called old and boring face. but I believe that I can change this, by smiling more maybe? any suggestion?
4) make more friends - I'm gonna re-read the book "How to win friends and Influence people" by dale Carnegie. This book is great because it reminds me how important people's impression on me and decide whether they should be friends with me or not. I should go out and network more to widen my social circle. Hmm...
5) lose the extra! - It's hard for me to this as I've been putting it on hold for a couple of years. The truth it that I've manage to keep my weight down by 10kg since 2008 and able to maintain it without much trouble, all thanks to Nutrilite! But then, keeping the numbers low is not enough because those extra fats left over from those days are still hanging around my body. They are not keeping me warm so it is useless and still make me looked fat. What i need is exercise to be in shape and what i dread most is exercise! Aarrgghhh! Will i ever get up and 7am for jogging? I dunno, but I'm asking for more energy from the Universe to do this. LOA is all it takes to kick things off :P
6) Grow my business - Haven't been serious about this business for the past 2.5 years. I'm determine to breakthrough and change a pin in 2011. At least we must able to qualify for Guangzhou Trip.
7) Get serious about blogging - I've been dreaming of making a career and big income from cyberspace. Blogging is one of the way. beside blogging, I also do other types of online business. Let's hope that all of it grow tremendously in year 2011.
That's all for now. In fact it is already a lot. I will continue to practice Law of Attraction to improve my life in every aspect.
