Bieber Fever got me thinking about the past

First of all, I want to make it clear that I'm not a Belieber. I bet most of you knew that Justin Bieber was here last Thursday for what they call One Time chance of lifetime concert (Anti-Beliebers will be rolling their eyes and shaking their head now :) ). Whether you like it or not, you gotta admit that this kid does have something to get girls around the world, young and old, forming a beliebers army! Meanwhile TuneTalk being the main sponsor has been kind enough to did a young girl a favor, and here's her reaction after the concert.

Anyway, my main point is not to blog about Justin Bieber but the recent Bieber Fever going on in Malaysia has got me thinking about the past, of how I used to be a young girl in the 90's and I too had my fair share of crush over some superstars at that time. Bieber Fever reminded me of Hanson, one of my fave band when they first became famous in 1997 and still is as at today :) Usually girls will idolise a celebrity around their age and yes the three Hanson brothers are around my age with Issac 5 yrs my senior, Taylor 2 yrs, and Zac is of my age. Taylor is my fav till today (which Hanson fan doens't like him?) They are one of the hottest, most talented and youngest star back in 1997 and the whole world was talking about them back then. Although they kept a low profile in recent years but if you checkout their official website, you'll know that they still have their fans and those fans are active. I still had my childhood dream which is to meet them someday. Haha! Laugh all you want but who doesn't have dream? Deep inside my heart i wish that the "someday" would come very soon.

I liked Hanson because of their unique style. Many said they are useless and they sound like chipmunk but which 13 yr-old boy will sound like Ronan Keating or Robbie Williams? Anyway, till today they are still weird though. Nothing much to say about them except the fact that i still like them for their uniqueness. Don't flame me XD I do like other celebrity, but as for now, Justin Bieber reminds me so much of Hanson. Nostalgia~
